I have 3 second delay using a go pro custom rtmp to mona server. Is there any chance to reduce this delay? If i use ipwebcam on android i have like 300ms delay. how come the go pro locally have 3 seconds delay. isnt there any better options?

I used this on my stream today, and OBS kept closing it randomly, I have no idea why, any ideas? Do I have to have Loop Playlist selected?

Tried it with my go pro hero 7 black; which is like 1 model off the range of where they started supporting webcam feature on gopro (go figure!!) nice clear image, but wayy to much delay time given the transfer from device to phone to pc.. would be nice if that were something that could be dealt with? would be a perfect solution for what i'm after if not for that lag

Great video. Is that 1/8 inch rope and 3/16 inch ferrule set ? Did you use 1/8 inch aircraft cable and did you cut it yourself or buy it by the foot ?

Which go-pro app are you using on your phone? And can we get a walk through of the latest version of this app to see that this feature still even exists and this video is fairly old now.

What about us Mac users? I run OBS on my macbpook pro.

If I remember correctly, there is a way to delay audio so you can sync it up with the video in OBS, so if you need the audio to be synced that should also be possible with a bit of trickery

Newer versions of OBS do not have the "VLC Video Source" option, instead, use the "Media Source" option and put in your rtmp URL.

Does it work through cellular signal? Not just your WIFI home. Coming home and hitting the button on the phone in cellular mode, would it work.

It always disconnects after 6 seconds with error message "Make sure URL is correct and your streaming platform is not down" anyone knows how to fix this?

I suggest people avoid the pre painted engines. They don't do a great job painting them and the don't keep as cool as an unpainted engine. They're great fun so good luck with yours. All the problems I have had with mine have been minor and easily fixed.

This is my 6th year/Summer working on , building, and riding Motorized Bikes. I add a Tuned Pipe, Hi Compression Head, Main Carb Jet is also changed. They come with a #70 jet, I'm running a #67 jet for a bit better Hi End. These small 2 cycle engines, HAVE TO BE WARMED UP !

Dosn´t work for my Mini 4 pro with the RC2 Controller. Twitch works fine but with mona it says "Invalid RTMP-Stream URL" Anybody have a solution? GoPro -> MonaServer works also

Hi Steve. This has been working well for me with my workflow but only on my local network. I am trying to configure port forwarding so I can connect remotely. I have set my router and firewall to 1935 but it will not connect to monaserver. Can you give me any advice on what numbers I am missing. I have watched countless videos but can't get my head around it. Cheers. Doug.

Pro tip: if you don't have VLC and want to use it in OBS you can add a Browser Source and add the same rtmp address. Depending on how powerful your computer is, it may help lower resource utilization by not needing to run VLC and OBS at the same time. You can just skip the hand off and go straight into OBS with the browser source. My only issue is trying to figure out the best way to either reduce latency or add an audio render delay so the audio and video match when my band does live streams at shows so I don't have to bring my good camera and worry about someone knocking it over or how long of an HDMI cable I'll need for a certain venue.

Hi Steve. I know this is a few years old now. I am wondering why you are bringing VLC into the mix. I am connecting my gopro 8 to monaserver and into OBS without having anything to do with VLC. Do you have any advice on being able to connect the camera from a remote location using a different network to the one monaserver is running on. I need to be able to move outside the network area with a 2nd modem and still connect to monaserver but having trouble finding an answer. Cheers. Doug

I’m totally new and don’t know the correct terminology to use so my wording might be wrong. I use livestream studios and want to add multiple GoPros but I can’t figure it out.
